HOW WILL I BE HELPED WITH CONFIDENCE AND LOW SELF-ESTEEM?

You will be helped with your low confidence and low self esteem with either cognitive behavioural therapy or hypnotherapy. Both these therapies alone, are effective as forms of treatment to gain a positive outcome but when used together you can look forward to gaining your desired outcome rapidly.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is recommended by the NHS as an effective means of therapy to facilitate behavioural change. Cognitive behavioural therapy for low confidence helps you to change how you think, feel and behave. As with the majority of emotional issues it is not an activating event that causes you to not believe in yourself but it's your negative thought patterns towards that event that causes the symptoms. For example, you may be asked to carry out a task or give a presentation to work colleagues. You might believe that you don't have the ability to do it. You may believe that someone else would be better suited to do it.   When using CBT for low confidence this would be classed as negative dysfunctional thinking which is causing and fueling your confidence levels. CBT helps you to look at and challenge your negative thought patterns. Once you can learn to reduce your negative thinking you will be well on your way to dealing with situations in a more positive way.

Hypnotherapy
As mentioned above, very often it is negative thinking which can lead to low confidence and low self esteem. Hypnotherapy for low confidence helps to uncover underlying causes of events which may be triggering events to why you let things build up to the point of not believing in yourself. Hypnotherapy is proven to be a safe and effective treatment that can help a wide range of problems in just a few hours of therapy. If you lack confidence or have a low self esteem, you do not do it deliberately, it is not a conscious action. The feelings of low confidence can be building slowly without you even realising it. Because having low confidence is a sub-conscious action, this gives a clear indication that in most cases the symptoms of low confidence levels appear as a result of a learned habit. Yes, in the majority of cases where you lack confidence or have a low self esteem, this has been learned over time until at some point it has become...A HABIT. Hypnotherapy will help you to effectively break this habit. For more information on how Hypnotherapy can help you with confidence and low self-esteem issues, click this link.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
NLP is based upon helping clients to overcome their own self-perceived, or subjective, problems rather than problems that others may feel they have. NLP also allows the client to choose additional goals as they learn more about their problems, and to modify those goals further as a result of the extended interaction.

The NLP approach to help with confidence and low self esteem does not focus on the past, but instead, focuses on the present and future. You will be helped to use respectful curiousity and be invited to envision your preferred future and then helped to start attending to any moves towards it, whether these are small steps or large changes.

NLP shows you how to understand and model your own successes, so that you can reproduce them. It is a way of discovering and unfolding your personal genius, a way of bringing out the best in yourself and others. You will be helped to focus on the way you want it to be rather than focusing on your fear of the way you think it will be.

With specialised treatment for confidence and low self-esteem using the skills of either
cognitive behavioural therapy, neuro-linguistic programming or hypnotherapyI will help you to leave behind those old anxious feelings and focus on the future, to help you feel more in control and at ease so that the things which may have stopped you living your daily life in a more fulfilling way, can now help you to feel more calm and relaxed.
